Hi, my name is Jeremy Barbouttis and I am dedicated to helping people overcome some of life's challenges. This gives me a great sense of satisfaction. I see people from all walks of life and all ages, including children, adolescents, young adults, stay at home mum's and dad's, people in the prime of their careers and retirees.
I work with people with many different kinds of issues and situations. Hypnotherapy is extremely effective in dealing with a range of issues, such as self esteem and confidence, stress, anxiety, panic, depression, addiction, habitual behaviour, trauma, eating disorders, anger, phobias, motivation, sleep disorders, sexual dysfunctions and many physiological problems. Fortunately, there is something that can be done that can produce positive results in a relatively short period of time. So, people don't need to continue to deal with these situations alone.
I have completed a Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Counselling, a Certificate IV in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Diploma in Ego State Therapy, Advanced Training in Emotional Freedom Techniques, Practitioner's Training in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Graduate Certificate in Sexual Health and other courses, including Suicide Prevention with Life Line.
I am a member of the Australian Hypnotherapists Association, which is a member association of the Psychotherapists and Counsellors Federation of Australia (PACFA), and hold international accreditation through the British Board of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. I am also a Registered Professional Member of the Australian Society of Clinical Hypnotherapists, which is a Member of the Council of Clinical Hypnotherapists.
My training has included techniques in Counselling, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Self Relations Psychotherapy, Naturalistic Hypnotherapy, Hypnoanalysis, Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Regression Therapy, Dream Therapy, Positive Suggestion Therapy, Ego State Therapy, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Sex Therapy, and Meridian Therapy (EFT).
